It had been a while since the devs pushed a full update of AIDE. And when they finally did, it was useless. No proper description of the “What’s new” , only the same old phrases that have been there since the invention of Android. Auto rotate was NOT even fixed. All I noticed in this update was NOTHING AT ALL.
So, basically, the devs were sitting there. One of them said, “Oh it’s been a while since we pushed an update. Let’s change the main activity’s name and shut our users up for a while.”
Totally useless updates!

Agreed. Also all last updates crash/unable to run on my phone. Crash reporting and analytics are enabled, but developers just ignore them, I guess…

If you really end up with this project, PLEASE, GIVE US a chance to rise IDE, give source code or disable obfuscation, we (russian forum mates and other users) may give it life and support! Please!!

Hey anyway I can help l. I’m a total noob. And I got here by backtracking all of the code from all the ‘unintentionally’ placed urls alterations that I didn’t know what were. I have been working hard to learn and am really tired of being sick on a “testgame” I wanna make something great and help change things for the better. I mean if you guys will be will to help me learn.

1 year later and still no significant updates. I haven’t used AIDE for a month now. I’m on Android 11 and I still develop projects for Android 7 or below. I mean I cant fully use Androidx due to the insufficiency of AIDE to handle it properly
