How do I get them working (my device is Android 9)?
there are about 16 errors shown and they seem to stem from missing support-v4 library.
If you have to pay for the samples it is only reasonable that they should be functional.
Paid samples don't compile
You need to add the API on the gradle file or the name is incorrect
