It seems extremely difficult to get to the Close file menu of AIDE. It just selects the file under cursor/finger on 7" portrait mode. Wy not Close-file option under main menu.

You need to press (and hold) in the file that you need to close.
NOTE: if you open a minified file or just a big file, AIDE will thrown a OutOfMemoryException and will slows down (very slow)

OK, I figured it out. Still think a X on the tab would be less typing!
