Android ide does not manage soft keyboard in editor. If I use a calculator app (keyboard input only numbers) and open aide… I get the same keyboard so cannot write code… Untill I go to an other app managing keyboard and changing it to full text, and come back to aide…

I did not use it since 2017, and was afraid it would not work under android P. Despite what is written in playstore , it does… Thx
If anyone still facing this problem, try the Google Keyboard. This bug only occurs while using Samsung Keyboard.
