previously (years ago) i had no issue creating a json file (for libgdx skins and such) within aide, editing it, closing and reopening the file later. Never any issues. But now for some reason the json file shows in the file system within Aide, but does nothing when attempting to open it. I have to manually change the filename and add “.txt” in order for Aide to open it for editing, then i save and rename again before running. This is a very annoying work around. And from my view of a json file being pure text, it should be completely unnecessary. Ive looked for missing settings, file associations, anything I can think of that would cause this but finding nothing.
When i say attempting to open the json does nothing, I mean nothing. no tab created, tapping on the file to open it like any other file literally does nothing unless i add the .txt extension.
