I had AIDE uninstalled for the last 2 months. I just reinstalled it and I still see the same old bugs… Nothing has been fixed. Androidx is not yet officially supported. Lots of errors and crashes.

@trixi Hi. I’m sorry but can I get a simple confirmation for these questions?
- Is AIDE still maintained?
- Is there gonna be an official support for Androidx?
- Do the developers care about this IDE?
This is the only environment for most of us so we , AIDE users , need a confirmation here.

Apparently the answer is “No” since the only official staff member is not responding as well… Just like the ananymous devs. RIP AIDE.

Aide is an excellent platform for codeng on android and just needs updating
I have been looking into linux on android and then running android studio,
I cannot make linux work on my rooted tablet, so have given up but it might work for you?
